Gnomes on the Roam in Medina: A Spring Break Tradition You Don't Want to Miss

Spring in Medina brings more than just warmer weather. It brings community, creativity, and one of the most fun downtown traditions of the year.

This year, "Gnomes on the Roam" returns during Spring Break week, and it is the perfect way to explore Medina while supporting local businesses. I am also excited to share that my office will one again be one of the participating locations, and yes, my gnome will be part of the hunt.

What Is Gnomes on the Roam?

From March 30 through April 5, gnomes will be hidden throughout Medina in local shops and storefront windows. Participants are invited to find them, identify their names, and submit their entries for a chance to win prizes.

It is a simple concept, but it creates a really fun experience for families, visitors, and anyone who enjoys spending time around Medina Square.

Event Details

• Start: March 30 at 11:00 AM

• End: April 5 at 5:00 PM

• Location: Participating businesses throughout Medina

Entry forms will be available online beginning March 30, and paper forms can also be picked up at participating locations.

How It Works

Participants will:

1. Visit designated locations around Medina

2. Find the hidden gnome inside or near the business

3. Identify the gnome's name

4. Match the name to the correct location on the entry form

5. Continue until 10 gnomes have been found

Completed entries will be submitted for a random prize drawing taking place on April 6, 2026.

Prizes

Participants who correctly match all 10 gnomes will be entered to win a variety of prizes donated by local businesses, including:

• Gift cards to Medina shops and restaurants

• A Gnomes on the Roam gift basket

• Mini golf tickets

• Spring-themed items and local products

It is a great opportunity to engage with the community while supporting the small businesses that make Medina so special.
