If you've been around Medina Square lately, you might have noticed something special in the air, and it's not just leftover Christmas magic. This January, Medina is once again stepping into the spotlight as filming gets underway for A Taste of Christmas right here in our charming downtown.

Main Street Medina recently reached out to local businesses asking if we'd be willing to leave our holiday window displays and Christmas décor up a little longer, through January 15, to help set the scene for the film. Several establishing shots and even a scene at the iconic gazebo are planned while the Square is still dressed for the season.
And of course, I said yes.

As ready as I am to jump into January with a clean slate, fresh energy, and new goals, this is simply too exciting not to embrace. Medina Square looks absolutely stunning, and being part of a movie filming in our hometown is something truly special.
What makes this even more fun? This isn't the first time cameras have rolled through Medina this holiday season. This season alone, we've had multiple movies filmed right here. At this point, I think it's safe to say the secret is out, Medina Ohio has exactly what filmmakers are looking for: timeless architecture, walkable streets, supportive local businesses, and that unmistakable small-town charm.
Even though the recent rain washed away the snow, the Square still shines. Christmas lights lining all of the buildings, glowing window displays, and the Christmas Tree in the Gazebo standing front and center, it's movie-ready in the best way.
I'm proud to keep my decorations up a bit longer and be part of showcasing Medina to a wider audience. Whether you live here, work here, or just love visiting, it's moments like this that remind us why this community is so special.
So if you see cameras, crew members, or familiar spots popping up on screen soon, just smile. That's our Medina, having its movie moment.
