What a Whirlwind of a Year It's Been
This year moved fast, in the best possible way. It was filled with momentum, growth, and moments that reminded me just how powerful it can be to say yes to new opportunities. From personal milestones to professional wins, this was a year that asked me to grow, adapt, and trust the process—and I'm ending it feeling incredibly grateful and energized for what's ahead.
January: Starting Strong
The year kicked off with community and connection. It was my final year serving as Social Media Chair for the Lions Club Polar Bear Jump, a role I loved. We danced the night away at the Disco Inferno concert with friends, started wedding dress shopping with Kelsey, and I was honored to be recognized as M.C. Real Estate Agent of the Month for December, a motivating way to begin the year.

February: New Beginnings
February brought keys to my new office, something I had been considering for a long time. I attended the Ohio Realtors Winter Conference in Columbus, celebrated the Medina Ice Festival, accepted a role on the Ohio Realtors Professional Standards Committee (and completed training), enjoyed a party on the frozen lake with friends, officially moved into my office, and earned Agent of the Month once again. Busy, but exciting.

March: Opening Doors
March was a milestone month. I officially opened my office at 107 N Court Street, celebrated with a Medina Chamber ribbon cutting and open house, attended Realtors at the Rotunda at the Statehouse in Columbus, hosted the MCBOR Broker Manager Meeting at Weymouth Country Club, and squeezed in a quick Florida getaway with JB. A perfect balance of work and recharge.

April: Celebrations
April was all about love and more music. We had the best time at Kelsey's bridal shower and we celebrated her birthday. We went to see Journey in Cleveland. Moments like these grounded me during a very full season.

May: Recognition & Roots
May brought one of the greatest honors of my career, being named Realtor of the Year by the Medina County Board of Realtors. I also dug into spring by planting flowers and refreshing our landscape, something that always resets my soul.

June: A Month to Remember
June was unforgettable. Kelsey and Brody's wedding was pure joy. Our HGTV House Hunters episode premiered, followed by a watch party at the Village Inn. JB left for a three-week motorcycle trip to Alaska, and I used the time to purge the bonus room above the garage and completely reorganize our garage and crawl space. I also chaired the Lions Club Mother's Day Plant Sale, community work I love deeply.

July: Full Circle
July was about independence and growth, celebrating the 4th of July, planting even more flowers, purchasing an investment property, volunteering at the Medina Chamber Golf Outing, and watching both of our girls take big steps toward homeownership. We also celebrated my birthday!

August: Empty Nest Season
August brought closings for both daughters, Kelsey and Laney each bought homes, closing in the same week. Laney also celebrated her birthday. JB and I officially became empty nesters, a bittersweet but proud milestone.

September: Milestones
September was layered. We celebrated JB's birthday, ordered a new sofa, redecorated our upstairs, attended the Ohio Realtor Convention in Cleveland where I was formally recognized again as Realtor of the Year. I got to wakeboard for the first time this season. I was also honored again as Agent of the Month.

October: Firsts
October marked my first time traveling outside the U.S. with a long weekend to Niagara Falls. I participated in MCBOR Candidate Interviews and was once again named Agent of the Month.

November: Gratitude
November brought a quieter pace and a chance to reflect. From preparing my office for the holidays to taking part in community traditions like the Candlelight Walk and hosting Thanksgiving, it was a month centered on gratitude, connection, and giving back.

December: Wrapping It All Together
December was a strong and meaningful finish to the year. I took exciting steps forward in my business, enjoyed time away with a quick trip to Canada, and wrapped up the year feeling grateful, grounded, and ready for what's next.
Looking Back with Gratitude
Including homes where I represented both sides, I closed 41 transactions totaling $13+ Millon in sales this year. That ranked me #8 Realtor in Medina County, and notably, one of only two agents in the top 8 not on a team.* This is remarkable because last count there are over 1300 agents affiliated with the Medina County Board of Realtors.

Even more powerful: all eight of the top agents in the county are women.
3 of the top 8 were agents at my brokerage, M.C. Real Estate. This speaks volumes about our brokerage, our market, and the strength of women in real estate.
I also referred three clients outside of my service area to trusted agents in other cities and states, making sure they received the same level of care, communication, and professionalism they've come to expect when working with me.
This year reminded me that success isn't just measured in numbers, it's measured in relationships, resilience, service, and alignment with what truly matters. I'm beyond grateful for my family, my clients, my friends, my community, and every opportunity this year brought my way.

Here's to growth, gratitude, and whatever comes next.
