As I sit down to reflect on the journey that led me to this point, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. Exactly 12 years ago today, I was honored with the title of the Medina County Board of REALTORS® "Rookie of the Year." It was a moment that meant the world to me, a validation of all the hard work and dedication I had poured into my career in real estate my very first year.

At that time, receiving such recognition was a milestone I will always cherish. It signified not only my personal achievements but also the support and encouragement of my peers and mentors within the industry. Being acknowledged as the Rookie of the Year fueled my passion and commitment to continually strive for excellence in my profession.

Fast forward to today, and I find myself in a position I once only dreamed of – serving as the President of the Board. It's an honor that fills me with a deep sense of responsibility and purpose. As President, I am entrusted with leading and representing our organization, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of professionalism and service in the real estate community.

But my journey doesn't stand alone. Last year, my daughter Kelsey followed in my footsteps and was named Rookie of the Year. Witnessing her embark on her own path in this industry fills me with immense pride. It's a testament to the values of hard work, integrity, and passion for helping others achieve their dreams that I have strived to instill in her.

Today is also the anniversary of her listing her very first home as an agent. Seeing her stand with this sign brings me great pride.

The Medina County Board of REALTORS® holds a special place in my heart. It serves as a vital hub for real estate agents and affiliates, providing invaluable resources, support, and networking opportunities. From continuing education programs to advocacy efforts, the board plays a crucial role in fostering growth and professionalism within our industry.

As President, I take my role seriously, recognizing the importance of serving our members and advocating for their needs.
